Organic Agriculture

In the development of the age, humans began to realize the importance of healthy living. consume foods from agricultural products that use chemicals and other pestisicides, can cause health problems indirectly. Disease that can inflict such as cancer or indigestion, which is certainly very dangerous for human health.

Plants derived from organic plants would be healthier because it does not use chemicals in the cultivation. Organic farming is the form of agriculture that relies on crop rotation, green manure, compost, biological pest control, and mechanical cultivation to maintain soil productivity and control pests, excluding or strictly limiting the use of synthetic fertilizers and synthetic pesticides, plant growth regulators, livestock antibiotics, food additives, and genetically modified organisms. In the 90's, the market for organic products has grown. Organic agriculture is a production system that sustains the health of soils, ecosystems and people. It relies on ecological processes, biodiversity and cycles adapted to local conditions, rather than the use of inputs with adverse effects.

Organic food is widely believed by the lay public to be healthier than conventional food. Most of organic sales are concentrated in developed nations. These products are what economists call credence goods in that they rely on uncertain certification. As food prices rise, organic products may experience a decrease in quantity demanded.
